DOWNLOAD STATION Wi-Fi is a lockable metal wall cabinet with the proven DOWNLOAD BOX II S Wi-Fi download key inside. Mount it in your depot or drivers' room: the driver arrives, inserts the card and it is read within moments – no assistance needed. The downloaded data then goes over Wi-Fi to your company network, or to your PC by USB. Need vehicle data too? Take the key out and go to the tachograph. Ready for vans from 1 July 2026.

Don't forget your company card
To download data from the vehicle, a company card must be inserted in the tachograph. You apply for it at the competent authority in your country.
Without an active company card, the tachograph will not allow you to download vehicle data. It acts as your electronic key to the vehicle.
Reading driver cards in the station does not need a company card – it is only needed for vehicle (tachograph) data.

How it works
Driver inserts the card
The driver inserts the driver card into the station. The card is read within moments – no company card and no office staff needed.
Key to the vehicle
For vehicle data, take the key out of the station and connect it to the tachograph. A company card must be inserted in the tachograph.
Data to TAGRA
The data goes over Wi-Fi to your company network (or by USB to your PC) and you evaluate and archive it in the TAGRA program.

Need downloads without visiting the vehicle?
DOWNLOAD BOX REMOTE downloads tachograph and driver card data automatically and remotely, straight into the TAGRA program – nobody has to walk round the vehicles. The unit is installed permanently in the vehicle by a qualified installer.
Installation is currently available in Slovakia and Hungary. We are looking for installation partners in other EU countries – if your company installs tachographs or vehicle electronics and would like to represent us in your country, write to obchod@tdt.cz.

Frequently asked questions
How does the Wi-Fi transfer work?
After the download, the device connects to your company network over Wi-Fi and, depending on the settings, transfers the files to a folder on your PC or to a server on the network. You can always use a direct USB transfer instead.
What do I need to download data with DOWNLOAD STATION Wi-Fi?
To read driver cards, DOWNLOAD STATION Wi-Fi on its own is enough. To download data from the vehicle, a company card must be inserted in the tachograph.
How often do I have to download data?
Legislation requires you to download driver card data at least every 28 days and tachograph data at least every 90 days. You must archive the data for at least 1 year. We recommend downloading a little more often, so you have a buffer if a driver is unavailable (illness, holiday).
What format is the downloaded data saved in?
Data is saved in .DDD format, or .C1B/.V1B depending on the tachograph make. To open and analyse it, you need analysis software, such as the TAGRA program, which is fully compatible with DOWNLOAD STATION Wi-Fi.
Does the station support the new G2V2 smart tachographs?
Yes. The station is built around DOWNLOAD BOX II S Wi-Fi, which supports Smart Tacho II (G2V2) and works with VDO and Stoneridge tachographs.
Can I also use it for vans from July 2026?
Yes. DOWNLOAD STATION Wi-Fi is ready for the tachograph requirement for vans (light commercial vehicles) of 2.5–3.5 t used in international transport for hire or reward and in cabotage, which applies from 1 July 2026.
