TAGRA MAX is the tachograph data analysis program for an unlimited number of vehicles and drivers. It runs on TAGRA III, the new generation of our tachograph software. It evaluates driver card and vehicle unit data, finds infringements and shows you what to deal with – before an inspector does. The first year of the licence is included in the price, and you can try it free for 30 days before you buy.

More than just downloading data
Downloading alone is not enough – the law requires regular analysis and archiving of tachograph data. TAGRA evaluates it against EU and national rules and shows you what to deal with first.
One overview of what needs attention – infringements, unaccounted time, card and vehicle downloads, expiring cards and tachograph calibrations.
Evaluation under Regulation (EC) No 561/2006, the AETR agreement and Directive 2002/15/EC – plus the national rules of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Every infringement shows the cited article, the wording of the regulation and a recommendation.
Driver activity chart with a Countries & shifts band – shift starts and ends, border crossings, loading and unloading.

Downloading alone is not enough
Operators must regularly evaluate and archive tachograph data. Without proper analysis you risk fines – even if the data is already downloaded.
Every 28 days
Driver cards must be downloaded at least every 28 days. TAGRA alerts you before the deadline.
Every 90 days
Vehicle units must be downloaded at least every 90 days. Data must be archived for at least 1 year.

Reports on file
The comprehensive company report lists all infringements with space for statements and signatures from the driver and employer.
How to get data into TAGRA
TAGRA loads data from driver cards and tachograph units (.DDD, .C1B, .V1B). Choose the device that suits the way you work.
DOWNLOAD BOX II S – downloads data from the tachograph and driver cards and transfers it to TAGRA by USB.
DOWNLOAD BOX II S Wi-Fi – the same key, with file transfer over Wi-Fi.
DOWNLOAD STATION – self-service driver card reading in your depot.
Smart card reader – reads driver cards directly on your PC.
Already using DKV LIVE® for remote download? TAGRA can import the files automatically from DKV's secure SFTP server on a schedule you set – included in every TAGRA licence.

Don't forget your company card
To download data from the vehicle, a company card must be inserted in the tachograph. You apply for it at the competent authority in your country.
Without an active company card, the tachograph will not allow you to download vehicle data. It acts as your electronic key to the vehicle.

Who is TAGRA MAX for?
TAGRA MAX is for large operators and fleets of any size – for an unlimited number of vehicles and drivers.
How do I get data into the program?
Data is loaded from the driver card (via a card reader or a download key) and from the tachograph unit. TAGRA supports manual loading via DOWNLOAD BOX II S and remote download through DOWNLOAD BOX REMOTE or the DKV LIVE® integration.
How often must data be downloaded?
Driver cards at least every 28 days and the tachograph unit at least every 90 days. Downloaded data must be kept for at least 1 year. TAGRA tracks the deadlines and alerts you in advance.
What file formats does TAGRA support?
Tachograph data is most commonly stored as .DDD files. Some countries also use .C1B (driver card) and .V1B or ESM (vehicle). These files cannot be opened with a standard viewer – you need dedicated tachograph analysis software such as TAGRA.
What does the annual licence fee cover?
The first year is included in the price. From year 2 the fee for TAGRA MAX is €149 per year excl. VAT. It covers continued licensing, software updates and technical support. You renew it directly from the program – it is not sold in this shop.
Can I try TAGRA before buying?
Yes. Download the free trial on tagra.app and use the full program with your real data for up to 30 days. No credit card, no commitment. After you buy, you activate the licence and continue with your data.
Is TAGRA ready for the July 2026 van obligation?
Yes. TAGRA is fully prepared for vans (2.5–3.5 t vehicles in international transport), to which the obligation to install a digital tachograph and download data regularly applies from July 2026.
Does TAGRA support G2V2 smart tachographs?
Yes. TAGRA fully supports second-generation smart tachographs (G2V2), mandatory for new vehicles since 2023, including their extended position records.
Can TAGRA be installed on more than one computer?
Each licence is bound to one specific computer. If you need to move the program to a different machine, contact Truck Data Technology to arrange a licence transfer. Network versions of TAGRA MAX support several workstations sharing a central database – contact us for details.
